Equipment problems mean trains will not call at Strood

Trains through Medway are set to be disrupted all week because of problems at Strood.

Issues with equipment are likely to disrupt the slow trains until the early hours of Friday, Southeastern says.

London-bound trains are not affected, but trains into Kent will not call at Strood between 7.30am and 2pm, and after 10pm.

However, the high-speed trains will be stopping at Strood – so if you are travelling on the slow train, you just need to change onto the high-speed line at Gravesend or Higham, where the trains will be making an extra stop.
