Starbucks opens second drive-through in Belvedere

A new Starbucks drive-through opened at Norman Park in Bevedere today (August 31), creating 12 new jobs for the area.

The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified store is the second Starbucks drive-through to feature the brand new sustainable design features.

To celebrate the opening, a ribbon cutting ceremony took place at 9am, hosted by the store’s local charity partner, Dreams Come True.

The national children’s charity aims to enrich the lives of young people living with serious medical conditions.

Throughout the day, the store team will be holding coffee tastings, offering customers the opportunity to try favourites from the new summer menu.

The new store features a recycled brick bar and electrical vehicle chargers for customers to use while they relax with a drink.

Gemma Dolan, district manager at Starbucks, said: “Myself, the store team and the designers are all so excited to open this brand-new store here in Belvedere.

“The new design features reflect our commitment to sustainable retail and how we’re building more sustainable LEED Certified stores.

“We are looking forward to welcoming the local community into our new store, so please do come along and join us on the day for a coffee!”

The Starbucks store is located at Norman Park, Clydesdale Way, Belvedere, and will be open between 6am – 10pm, Monday to Saturday and from 7am – 10pm on Sundays.
