New workshop aims to help start-up businesses thrive

They will be held on the last Friday of each month.

A new workshop which is aiming to help budding entrepreneurs develop and build their business ideas has been launched.

The foundation for success workshop will help start-ups, micro businesses and people in the voluntary sector to write a business plan, including researching their market and target customers and how to raise finance.

The workshop has been launched by Bexley for Business and the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce (KICC).

Attendees will receive an advice pack, with information and fact sheets tailored to their business.

Cabinet member for regeneration and growth, Cllr Linda Bailey, said: “This workshop will ensure start-ups are equipped with the right knowledge and contacts they need to build a successful business.

“Bexley is home to a really diverse business community, and I look forward to seeing a range of new entrepreneurs taking their ideas to the next level.”

The first event will take place on June 26 at the Thames Innovation Centre at Bexley’s business centre at Veridion Park, Belvedere.

The workshops will then be held on the last Friday of each month.

Cost is £20.

  • I've been trying to trade the Forex for years now and never could make money. I found a website called Code Trading System which is having a special right now purchased all their videos got some help from the support and now I'm doing my own trading and making money. I will never go back to trading the Forex ever again!
