Pauline Quirke Academy opening in Sidcup

Actress Pauline Quirke is bringing her performing arts academy to Sidcup.
There are 37 Pauline Quirke Academies across the country and another will be opening at Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar School in Hurst Road next month.
The actress, who is best known for her role as Sharon in Birds of a Feather in the 1990s, said: “Nothing beats watching a studio full of kids really engaged in learning performance arts while having a brilliant time.”
The school is hosting a free open day on Saturday, October 6 from 9.45am to 12.30pm where youngsters can sample classes and meet principal Heather Smith and the other teachers.
