A planning application which will see 620 new homes built in Erith has been submitted by Orbit Housing Association.
The proposals, estimated to cost £100m and part-funded by the Homes and Communities Agency, are designed to regenerate the Larner Road area of the town.
Managing director Vivian Knibbs said: “We are committed to working with local people to create a community where they want to live and feel real pride.”
Should the application be successful with Bexley council Orbit South aim to start work in March next year.
There will be a public application with members of the planning team on September 27 from 2pm to 7pm in Norvac House, Waterman Close.
A Welling man is one of nine who have been charged with violent disorder in connection with the trouble which marred Millwall Football Club’s FA Cup semi-final at Wembley on April 13.
