Rape at Rochester leisure park sees Welling man arrested

Police were called to an incident on Saturday

Police have made an arrest as they investigate an alleged rape in Rochester over the weekend.

Officers are continuing with their enquiries to the incident, thought to have happened at Allhallows Leisure Park on Saturday morning.

A Kent Police spokesperson confirmed a man “from the Welling area” who is thought to be known to the victim, has been arrested on suspicion of rape.

He has since been released “pending further enquiries”.
