Pamela Wheeler, 76, was found with her wrists and ankles tied in her Newacres Road home on July 22 and police think she may have been there for three days after neighbours became concerned she had not been seen since July 19.

The crime-fighting charity is now offering £10,000 to find those responsible.

Regional manager for London Regan Hook said: “The news of this lady’s death is very saddening and came under such appalling conditions.

“The community surrounding the quiet street where she lived has been left horrified and in fear after this ordeal and we are in desperate need to get to the bottom of happened.”

Anyone with information should contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or the police on 020 8721 4805.
