The teen is ‘over the moon’ after winning

A Crayford student and model has been crowned Miss Teen Catwalk Perfect UK.

Hayley Day, 15, won the title at the Catwalk Perfect UK Grand Final earlier this month after raising £1,700 for the Brain Tumour Charity, Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and other charities.

The Haberdashers’ Aske’s Crayford Academy pupil has also been doing voluntary work including bringing Christmas and Easter presents to Darenth Valley Hospital children’s ward. In August she organised a charity fashion show, with another planned for next June.

On being crowned, Hayley said: “When my name was called out as your new Miss Teen Catwalk Perfect UK, I was crying happy tears, thinking all the hard work has paid off.”

“I’m over the moon. I can’t thank you all enough for supporting me,” she continued.

The teen, who also won a second award for publicity, hopes to study make up and beauty at college next September while continuing to support the work of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.
