Thamesmead street does bit for environment

Sixty volunteers from Waterside Close, Thamesmead, shifted one tonne of rubbish from their neighbourhood, filling 30 bin bags of waste plus sofas, beds and mattresses.
Waterside Close Residents’ Association organised the clean-up with Gallions Housing Association.
