Late-night services in north Kent and south London affected

Late-night engineering work will disrupt trains in Dartford and Bexley this week.

Work will take place on the lines between Charlton and Dartford via Woolwich Arsenal, and between Lewisham and Dartford via Sidcup, from tonight until Friday. Some trains will be replaced by buses.

The 12.18am train from London Charing Cross to Gillingham will not call at Charlton, Woolwich Arsenal, Plumstead, Abbey Wood, Belvedere, Erith or Slade Green tonight or in the early hours of Thursday and Friday.

Instead it will be diverted, calling at Kidbrooke at 12.52am, Eltham at 12.55am, Falconwood at 12.58am, Welling at 1.01am, Bexleyheath at 1.04am, Barnehurst at 1.07am and Dartford at 1.17am. It will then run to Gillingham as normal.

A replacement bus will leave Lewisham at 12.55am, calling at Blackheath at 1.03am, Charlton at 1.13am, Woolwich Arsenal at 1.21am, Plumstead at 1.25am, Abbey Wood at 1.31am, Belvedere at 1.34am, Erith at 1.39am, Slade Green at 1.45am, Dartford at 1.54am, Greenhithe at 2.03am, Gravesend at 2.15am, Higham at 2.28am, Strood at 2.37am, Rochester at 2.41am, Chatham at 2.46am and Gillingham at 2.57am.

The 11.52pm and 12.22am trains from Charing Cross to Dartford via Sidcup will run fast from Lewisham to Dartford tonight, tomorrow and on Thursday night and Friday morning.

Replacement buses will leave Lewisham at 12.30am and 1am and will call at all stations. The 12.30am bus will continue on to Gillingham.
