Motorists advised to avoid the area and allow extra time for their journey
Traffic has started to clear after an earlier crash resulted in huge queues earlier this morning.
However, there is still some minor congestion, with slow moving traffic on the M25 anti-clockwise at the A282 Dartford Tunnel.
There is also some congestion to the Junction 1b of the A282.
Motorists heading towards the Dartford Crossing this morning faced EIGHT MILE queues after a crash in Essex caused chaos.
Emergency services cleared the scene of a crash involving several lorries.
The smash happened on the clockwise section of the motorway which has closed that carriageway. The knock-on impact has been huge delays on both sides of the crossing for those using the M25.
Queues stretched back to junction three of the M20, the Swanley interchange.
