Officers have thanked everyone who assisted in the search

A missing Welling teenager who it was thought might be in Rochester has been found.

The 13-year-old girl went missing over a week ago, on May 9, after last being seen in the village of Halling.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Officers would like to thank all those who assisted in the search. She has now been found safe and well.”
