Police have released CCTV footage of a man burgling a pub in Welling, and are now appealing for help identifying him.

The incident at The New Cross Turnpike Pub on Bellegrove Road happened in the early hours of Saturday June 3.

The male in question forced open storage containers and stole drink and meat with an estimated value of £1,000.

A spokesperson from Bexley police said: “We would like to identify and speak to his male involved in a non-residential burglary at The New Cross Turnpoke Pub.”

Anyone with any relevant information is asked to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
