Do you recognise this man? He’s reported to have threatened a young couple in Bexley

Police would like to identify a man they believe is connected to an indecent assault with a knife in Bexley.

The suspect and his victims - a couple, both 19 - boarded a route 132 bus at North Greenwich at 2.20am on March 12.

As the victims got off the bus at Bexley Road, Avery Hill, the suspect followed the couple.

He then reportedly tried to engage in conversation with them and asked the girl for a kiss. When she said ‘no’ he grabbed her a kissed her, while also pushing her boyfriend away.

The girl managed to break free to which the suspect then pulled out a knife, held it towards the couple and said “if you don’t let me pull your girlfriend, I’ll stab you.”

Officers would also like to speak with two women who were walking nearby and shouted at the suspect when they saw what was going on.

The suspect is described as an Asian male, 20-25-years-old, five feet seven inches tall, and chubby.
