The thief stole from the store three times within six days

Bexley police are appealing for information which could help them identify a man involved in three incidents of shoplifting in Belvedere.

The man in the video has stolen items from the Co-op Supermarket in Nuxley Road on Wednesday, June 21, Friday, June 23, and Tuesday, June 27.

In the first incident, the man gets caught by one of the shop assistants who chases him out of the shop and down the road.

The second time, he’s seen reaching over the counter at the tills, while a shop assistant tries to stop him stealing.

And the third time, he walks in with his hood up, takes a number of items from the fridge, and walks out again - without being spotted.

Officers have asked that anyone with information call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
