Police would like to speak to this man regarding the theft of diesel


The incident happened in March

Police have released CCTV footage in the search for a man they wish to speak to after diesel was stolen from a fuel garage.

On Friday, March 10, just after 9.30pm a White Ford Transit pulled into the Shell Petrol Garage in Northend Road, Erith, using a false licence plate reading AX04 XJV.

Footage released via Bexley Police’s Facebook page shows the vehicle pulling into the garage, and a man getting out.

The footage appears to the driver filling the van with diesel, before returning to the driver’s seat and pulling away.

Two months on from the incident, police would now like to identify and speak to the man in the footage.

Members of the public who can help police with their investigation are asked to give information to officers via Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
