Take home some one-off prints and enjoy a unique day out at the world’s first Photobooth Festival featuring hand-built booths including Andy Warhol and Disco style snaps.
Celebrate the humble invention, in Erza Street, Hoxton on Saturday, and get photographed with your friends and family with a choice of eight different booths producing memorable and exciting photos that are a far cry from the dreaded passport shots.
No festival would be complete without music or food and organisers from The Republic of Photography, have booked the renowned Rough Trade DJS to provide the tunes while local chefs will whip up delicious summer bites and ice cream treats.
Seamus Ryan, founder of Boothnation, said: “I’m really excited about the festival. It gives us the opportunity to share some of the innovations we’ve been working on with London.
“Nothing comes close to a photobooth in creating spontaneous, uninhibited and spirited portraits.”
The one-off event runs from 10am-6pm. Tickets are £10 per person or £25 for a family of four. To book visit www.eventbrite.co.uk/
