Rihanna has announced she will play The O2 as part of the six-date ‘Loud’ tour of the UK next October.

The Umbrella singer with a reputation for raunchy live shows played two dates at the North Greenwich arena in May this year after the first gig sold out within minutes.

She will be back on October 5 before heading off for Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham and Newcastle.

The 22-year-old star has achieved an impressive 14 UK top ten singles - including seven numbers ones - since first releasing Pon De Replay back in 2005.

Tickets are priced from £40 to £55 and go on sale at 9am on December 11.
