To send a link to this page to a friend, you must be logged in.

It runs from 10am to 6pm on both days in Danson Park, Bexleyheath, and chart-topping band The Hoosiers will be bringing the weekend to a close on Sunday night.

The three-piece soared to the top of the album charts with their debut offering The Trick To Life in 2008 and are most famous for their top 10 singles Worried About Ray and Goodbye Mr A.

Soul singer Angelo Starr is headlining on Saturday night on what promises to be a fantastic weekend.

Alongside the music there will be a wide variety of other activities to get involved in.

Visitors can try out different activities such as play badminton, rugby or bowls in the sports zone while the arts village will allow people to get creative. Alternatively delve into the past with the classic cars exhibition or learn something new in the cultural marquee, which aims to bring the many communities who live in Bexley together. The festival is free to attend.

Visit www.dansonfestival.co.uk for the full line-up.

For a full round-up see the new Bexley Times, out next Thursday (July 12).
