From stylised black and white photos of the city, iconic backdrops such as the London Eye, to odd-looking shots of people on their bikes, the entries to date have shown how passionate we are as a cycling city.

More than 500 entries have been received so far.

‘London by Bike’ is sponsored by Barclays, the bank which part-funds the cycle hire in the capital city.

A spokesmand said: “Professional and amateur snappers that can capture the adventure, inspiration and beauty of cycling in the city.”
