Greenwich comedy festival is not just for laughs

The capital’s biggest comedy festival is no longer just about the laughs as plans have been unveiled to host a conference day dedicated to the more serious side of the industry.

Greenwich Comedy Festival which returns for the second year in September will host the inaugural Comedy International Conference, on Friday, September 10 at the Old Royal Naval College, from 10am to 6pm.

Organisers hope the event will open up the market across European and International borders.

The day will see representatives from the comedy industry including agents, promoters, managers, venue owners, producers and service providers, come together to explore and discuss key topics that are affecting their industry today.
