Emma Grzonkowski will be appearing at Bluewater Shopping Centre's Castle Galleries.

Critically-acclaimed artist Emma Grzonkowski will be unveiling a new exhibition of her work in Greenhithe.

The contemporary painter will be exhibiting her work at Castle Galleries in Bluewater Shopping Centre next week.

Ms Grzonkowski has created a number of large-scale works and she became a professional artist some six years ago - including pieces Metamorphosis and Transcendence.

Speaking about her upcoming exhibition she explained: “My latest exhibition is a representation of all the deep emotion I have felt during my life and how art has helped me process and overcome pain and difficulty.

“I’m very excited to be exhibiting my work in Kent.”

The 28-year-old became a professional artist when she was still an undergraduate.

Ms Grzonkowski was studying for a degree in fine art at the University of Chester.

During her final year of study in 2009 she was discovered by Glyn Washington - the founder and director of UK fine art publisher Washington Green Fine Art, which owns the Castle Fine Art retail network.

Peter Gilby, gallery manager for Bluewater’s Castle Galleries, said: “We are very excited to welcome Emma to the gallery.

“It will be interesting to see the viewer really engage with the intensity of emotions conveyed through the paintings, and we have no doubt that they will be snapped up very quickly.”

Ms Grzonkowski will be appearing at the gallery to unveil the exhibition on May 21.

She will be there between 1pm and 4pm.

The exhibition will then be running at the gallery for a further week.

Pieces of her artwork can either be purchased from the gallery or online.
