An ambassador to the UN is to talk about his new book at a library.

Former independent MP Martin Bell, famous for dressing in a white suit, will address the audience at Central Library, Bexleyheath on October 13 at 7.30pm.

Mr Bell, who has written a number of books about politics and international relations, will be talking about his new publication entitled A Very British Revolution: The Expenses Scandal and How to save our Democracy.

Tickets for the event are priced at £2.50 and are available from the library.
