Ed Sheeran, Celine Dion, Jamiroquai, and Alt-J confirmed for the O2’s 10th birthday shows

The celebrations will be a week of extra performances
The O2 arena has announced that singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran will be joining in the O2’s tenth birthday celebrations with an extra show on top of his 2017 tour.
He joins Alt-J, Celine Dion, and Jamiroquai who have already been announced as part of a series of concerts to celebrate 10 years of the arena.
Ed said: “I am really excited to be joining the celebrations for The O2’s birthday. It’s an iconic venue and has played host to some of my biggest inspirations. It’s always a pleasure to play there and taking part in this makes it more special.”
Ed’s third album, divide, saw all 16 tracks go into the UK top 40 charts. They also gave the singer the record for the highest number of Spotify streams for an album ever, culminating 56,727,861 treams in 24 hours, and he shifted 432,000 albums in three days.
The O2’s 10th Birthday shows are a week-long series of shows. Since its launch in 2007, The O2 has become one of the most successful, and recognisable music and entertainment venues in the world. It has played host to live experiences for over 60 million fans of music, sport, exhibitions, and award shows.
Alt-J will be playing on June 16, Celine Dion on July 29 and 30, Jamiroquai on June 24, and Ed Sheeran on June 22.
