Live on Mars is influenced by the legendary singer’s concert performances

A theatre show celebrating the music and life of Bromley’s David Bowie, is coming to his home town.

Live on Mars is influenced by the star’s legendary concert performances, and brings his alter agos, and creative muses to the stage with elements of mime, dance, big screen visuals and animation.

Bowie died in January, 2016 at the age of 69 after a battle with cancer, and in the year that followed his albums were purchased or streamed 1.6 million times as fans revisited his extensive work that spanned six decades.

Featuring the vocals of Bowie fan Alex Thomas and his band, the show will cover the singer’s back-catalogue from Space Oddity to Let’s Dance.

The set list also includes Jean Genie, life on Mars, Ziggy Stardust, Heroes, Ashes to Ashes, All the Young Dudes, The Man Sold The World, Changes, Five years, China Girl, Fashion, Moonage Daydream, Dam, Starman, Rebel Rebel, Sound and Vision, Modern Love, and Young Americans.

Live on Mars is coming to Bromley’s Churchill Theatre tonight.
