Talented singer and songwriter Sunjay Brayne will be performing in Dartford later this month.

His self-titled album, Sunjay, features collaborations with musicians including producer Eddy Morton, Katriona Gilmore and Charlie Baker.

The 21-year-old first started playing guitar at the age of four - taught by his father, a keen amateur guitarist.

His music has folk and blues influences, drawing from his cultural and musical background, and he has supported acts such as Passenger, Martin Simpson and Steeleye Span.

Mr Brayne has received a clutch of award nominations, winning the Wath Festival young performers award and making the final selection for the BBC’s Young Folk Award in 2012.

As well as this he had three nominations at the Exposure Music Awards 2014 and was also recognised by the 2014 British Blues Awards.

Mr Brayne will be performing at the Dartford Folk Club on September 15 at 8.30pm.
