Sidcup’s Bird College to display talent with summer showcase, Retro

The theatre school will be performing twice daily

Sidcup theatre school Bird College will be presenting their summer showcase at Dartford’s Orchard Theatre from July 13-15.

The performance is called Retro, with show numbers taking influence from aspects of the decades between 1950 and 1980.

A spokesperson from the college, said: “It is only by understanding what has happened in the past that we can be creative about the present and the future.”

Bird College provides a qualification in dance education and training, and former graduates have gone on to build careers in dance, acting and musical theatre.

Performaces will take place at 2.30pm and 7.15pm each day, with the Thursday matinee being an open dress rehearsal.

Tickets prices range from £10 to £24.
