Raymond Sykes, aged 35, to appear before Bexley magistrates later today (Thursday)

A man has been charged with the murder of a pensioner in Sidcup on Friday, 19 June.

Raymond Sykes, aged 35, of Reugg House, Woolwich, was charged yesterday (Wednesday) with the murder of 82-year-old Arthur Walters-Girout. He was also charged with fraud by false representation.

He will appear in custody at Bexley Magistrates’ Court later today (Thursday).

Two other men, Jason Hill, aged 23, and Ashley Hill, aged 21, both of Claydown Mews, Greenwich, have been charged with fraud by false representation.

They appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday) and will next appear in custody at Croydon Crown Court on Wednesday, July 8.
