36-year-old man reported missing in Gravesend

Kent police are appealing for information into the whereabouts of a man reported missing in Gravesend.

Officers are concerned for the welfare of Anthony Mellon, aged 36, who has not made contact with friends or family since Saturday, August 22.

Mr Mellon was last seen the day before in Gravesend town centre but is reported to have made a telephone call from Lime Row, Thamesmead, at 6.30pm on Saturday. He is also known to frequent the Abbey Wood area of south-east London.

He is described as being 5ft 9in with a shaved head and tanned skin, and was last seen wearing black tracksuit bottoms and black Nike Air trainers. He may also now be wearing a cream and grey striped hooded top.

Mr Mellon also has a skull tattoo on his chest with a tribal tattoo coming from it down his left arm.

Anyone who knows of his whereabouts is asked to call 101 quoting reference 22-1226.
