The 700th British Heart Foundation charity shop opened its doors in Woolwich on Tuesday (13).

Greenwich mayor Jim Gillman was opened the furniture and electrical store in Hare Street, which offers a free collection service for large items.

Area Manager, Mike Giblin, said: “We are delighted with the opening our 700th Store in Woolwich. So far the new furniture and electrical stores has received a brilliant response from the local community and we’re hoping that people will support us on by coming in to have a look at all the bargains available.”

The store is also looking for new volunteers.
