A chance to play at the O², no practice required

JAM sessions are being held at a music museum every afternoon during the Easter holidays.

JAM sessions are being held at a music museum every afternoon during the Easter holidays.

The sessions between 1pm and 3pm, at the British Music Experience at the O² in Greenwich, are behind held daily until next Sunday.

They include a comprehensive introductory workshop, followed by sessions on how to use the museum's extensive array of instruments.

Bon Jovi, Jamie Cullum and Jeff Beck have all played the British Music Experience.

On Saturday a radio presenting workshop will take place with staff from The British DJ and MC Academy, from 10.30am until 1pm, open to all ages.

It will cover music production from drum and bass artists Lady MC and DJ Trickles, the founders of the Academy.

There are 20 places which must be booked in advance by emailing events@britishmusicexperience.com.

On Saturday and Sunday afternoons, the museum will be closing to the public.

The last ticket entry will be at 1pm.
