A20 closes after car crashes into petrol pump

The A20 was closed for two hours after a car crashed into a petrol pump between Sidcup and Swanley last night.

The driver of an Audi was not injured and the London Fire Brigade confirmed that the BP garage on the Kent-bound road between Critall’s Corner and the M25 was not on fire.

The road reopened at around 6pm after affecting rush-hour traffic following the incident just after 4pm.
