A 70-year-old woman has been missing from her home in Abbey Wood last Sunday.
Molly Buckingham was last seen by a neighbour on the morning of May 1 walking in Glover Close, Abbey Wood, at around 9am.
At the time, Ms Buckingham was wearing a grey coat and was carrying a large black bag with her. She is white, approximately 5 feet 10 inches, with blonde and grey hair and brown eyes.
The last time she went missing, more than ten years ago, she travelled to seaside locations including Blackpool, Southend, Folkestone and Herne Bay. But she has no connections with these towns.
Police believe that she had recently become unhappy about various aspects of her life, including her accommodation arrangements.
She takes regular medications and it is possible that, whilst missing, she might not have taken any with her. She might appear to be in a confused state or her morale might be extremely low.
DC Rhianne Trill said: “Molly’s friends and family are concerned for her welfare as she is a vulnerable woman.
“Anyone who comes into contact with her should immediately contact police and paramedics.”
Anyone with information should contact DC Trill from the Missing Persons Unit at Plumstead Police Station on 020 8284 7713 / 12.
