The Adult Education College Bexley celebrated the exceptional results over the past year with an awards ceremony at St John the Evangelist Church in Church Road, Sidcup.

Almost 2,000 learners sat 100 different examinations and accreditations, with a 91 per cent pass rate, at the Sidcup institution.

The successful students collecting their certificates included Tina Robertson, who achieved an OCR Business Professional Administration Level 2. Tina now works in the Mayor’s office at Bexley Council.

She said: “Doing the course has helped me get this job and keep it. I’d heartily recommend adult education to anyone.”
