Animal shelter seeks homes for two cats in Bexley

PUBLISHED: 09:28 23 August 2012

This week’s Help A Pet appeal is seeking two homes for a couple of black and white cats in Bexley.

Dina is almost three years old. She was rescued with many other cats and kittens because her owner could not cope with the cats and their unplanned numerous litters.

Her fosterer Teresa Bloomfield said: “Dina is a pretty, friendly and confident girl who likes to be fussed over. As she has now been neutered, Dina’s pregnant days are over. She has also been full vaccinated and microchipped.”

The second cat is Badger who is a very elderly stray.

Because his coat was so badly matted when he was rescued, Badger’s coat had to be cut very short. However, it is growing back and will soon match his lovely personality.

He needs a retirement home. Because of his age, Anim-Mates is prepared to meet the cost of any veterinary treatment Badger may require in the future.

If you can offer a home to Dina or Badger, call Teresa on 01634 271456 or 07743 331397.

Anim-Mates is an animal rescue group based in north-west Kent and south-east London.

All the animals are cared for in the homes of fosterers who treat them as their own pets until they are re-homed.

All new homes are vetted. Anim-Mates is run entirely by volunteers. To see all the animals in the care of Anim-Mates visit
