Police are appealing for witnesses

A teenager remains in hospital after a shooting in Sidcup last night (Monday).

Police were called to Oakley Drive at around 10.30pm, where they found the 17-year-old suffering a gun shot wound to the chest.

He was taken to hospital for treatment.

At this time, his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Detectives from the Trident Gang and Area Crime Command are investigating, though no arrests have been made so far.
