Applications for community project funding opens today

More than £3million has been set aside by the Big Lottery Fund
Erith and Thamesmead MP Teresa Pearce is encouraging locals who want to create community projects to apply for newly available funding.
The Big Lottery Fund started taking applications today, (Wednesday) for community project funding.
It currently has £3.8million to give away, with applicants able to ask for anything between £300 and £10,000.
Labour MP Ms Pearce said: ““It is great to see the Big Lottery Fund make nearly £4m available for community groups across the country.
“With up to £10,000 up for grabs to successful applicants, I urge all local community groups to apply.”
