Students and apprentices were visisted by a senior MP last week.

Minister of state for apprenticeships and skills, Robert Halfon visited Blackfen School for girls during a trip to the borough, also stopping off at local businesses.

The visit was a chance to show Mr Halfon the work being done to recruit and support youngsters as they head into the world of work.

Throughout his visit he met youngsters who had received advice and support from MiddletonMurray.

“We wanted to show Mr Halfon our process from end to end, from schools, to traineeships, to apprenticeships, to securing a full time job and beyond, to a promotion or better job” explained founder Angela Middleton.
