AN ART group for senior citizens that was under threat after being forced out of a library will survive but at extra cost to members.

AN ART group for senior citizens that was under threat after being forced out of a library will survive but at extra cost to members.

Members of Brampton Art Group feared their group would have to be wound up after a letter from Bexley library services informed them their venue in Welling library needed to be vacated.

Last Monday 30 members met at their new venue, Pincott Hall at the rear of Christchurch, Bexleyheath Broadway. Honorary secretary Alan Hinkley said: "Members' subs will probably have to go up in January to allow for the increased rental charge.
