The winner of Best Independent Retailer of the Year at the Bexley Business Excellence awards has pledged to open a new shop soon.

The Emporium, a collaboration between Indian Rose Gifts and Pastimes Picture Boxes, ran a successful pop-up shop for two and a half years after starting out as a six-week Christmas shop.

After its pop-up lease ended in June the shop had to move, but a permanent outlet is set to open soon.

The shop’s owners thanked its customers for their support.
