Talented children got their hands dirty producing a series of paintings during a month-long art project.

Students at Lessness Heath Primary School in Erith Road, Belvedere, created the art work – which includes decorated wooden blocks displayed around the school.

The pupils aged between four and 11 were inspired by artists who visited the school teaching them new techniques.

Deputy head teacher, Mark Oldfield said: “We had visits from artists to the school to work with the children. What they have produced is fantastic. It’s a lot of large scale pieces and a lot of them are outdoors.”
