Officers found 21 wraps of cocaine with the purity of over 80 per cent when they searched Christopher Waite’s former Erith address

A man from Belvedere has been sentenced to three years in jail for class A and B drug offences.

Christopher Waite, 30, of Parsonage Manorway, Belvedere, was convicted of possession with intent to supply a class A drug and possession of a class B drug at Inner London Crown Court on June 20.

Officers found 21 wraps of cocaine with the purity of over 80 per cent, and one bag of cannabis, at Waite’s address at the time in Erith Road, Erith.

They also found, at the address, over £600 in cash and articles relating to the offence of supplying a controlled substance.

He pled guilty to both offences brought against him and was sentence to three years imprisonment as a result.

The conviction follows a joint investigation between the Northumberland Heath Safter Neighbourhood Team and the Bexley Problem Solving Team.
