THE Millennium Dome was built to mark 2,000 years since the birth of Christ - and now it can actually take you back there.
The latest show coming to the venue is Ben Hur Live, an in-your-face rerun of the Oscar-winning Bank Holiday movie climaxing with a full-on chariot race.
One could say "When in Dome, do as the Romans do," and this show is certainly set to have all the trimmings a demented, murderous, Italian-Trojan emperor could wish for.
The cast will include 400 performers, 100 animals, pyrotechnics, water effects and booming epic music.
Needless to say the tickets are pricy and range between £35 and £115, and you may or may not be reassured to hear that your face will be 'yards' away from the action!
Ben Hur Live is due to unfold at the O2 next September, and tickets go on sale tomorrow from www.theo2.co.uk or www.benhurlive. com or by calling 0844 856 0202.
