A bestselling author will be visiting a school to talk to students about his new book.

Jeremy Strong will visit Bedonwell School, Belvedere, on June 4.

He will be talking to students about his new book Kidnapped! The Hundred Mile an Hour Dog’s Sizzling Summer.

This will be his 100th book, and the author’s work has proved very popular with young readers.

Speaking about the momentous landmark, Jeremy said: “It’s a disconcerting feeling, and a tingly, exciting one too, to know that you’ve published a hundred titles for children. It’s disconcerting because I find myself sitting here thinking: how on earth did all that happen? When did I do all that? Of course I know the answers. I have spent the last thirty seven years writing and publishing, nevertheless it certainly doesn’t feel like thirty seven years. Ten feels more like it, and even that seems a lot.”

Jeremy’s new book will be published on June 5.
