Bexley is rated the top London borough for adult social care users feeling safe according to results of a new survey.

But while 75 per cent of users feel safe just 61.6 per cent of people are satisfied with the care and support they receive.

The nationwide survey was carried out by Adult Social Care.

Cabinet member for adults’ services Cllr Chris Taylor said: “I welcome the publication of these results, which show that people feel safe and have a positive experience of care and support.

“These results enable residents to see how well we are performing in comparison with the rest of London and nationally. We are determined to continue providing high quality services to meet the needs of adults who require services from us in a way that enables them to remain in control of their lives.”
