Fourteen Bexley businesses have been nominated for this year’s South London Business Awards.

The borough is represented in nine of the 11 categories and nominees include a number of businesses featured by the Bexley Times, including Mobile Bar Hire, Xtreme Vortex and Re-Instate.

Cllr Linda Bailey, cabinet member for economic development and regeneration, said: “I am very proud to see how many Bexley businesses have been nominated for the these awards.”

They have been organised by careers advice service Prospects, and its chief executive Peter Pledger said: “I am delighted by the number of high quality entries we have received from businesses Bexley.

“The standard demonstrates that Bexley has a business community of which they can be proud.”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at Riverbank Park Plaza hotel in London on July 4.
