Bexley council is set to hand over civic offices and car park

The council will officially hand over the site of the current civic offices on Bexleyheath Broadway.

The site will be given to new owners, Tesco, on June 2 and the civic offices car park will be closed from June 1.

Following the closure the nearest car parks will include Albion Road, Oaklands, and the bowling centre in Bexleyheath.

Tesco’s plans for the site will include a new car park for around 500 spaces.

The council’s new civic offices will be located on Watling Street.

Council telephone numbers, email addresses and online services will not be affected by the move.
