Bexley youngsters enjoy girls activity day at Crook Log Leisure Centre

Bexley’s first girls activity day was held at Crook Log Leisure Centre last week

More than 70 Year 10 girls from six secondary schools across the Borough took part in events including trampolining, boxercise, spin class and zumba.

The aim of the day was to give students the opportunity to engage in non traditional activities and provide them with the information and experience they need to continue with the sport.

Coaches from Dartford Trampoline Club gave their time voluntarily.

Cllr John Fuller said: “Days like this give the students an opportunity to try different activities which are available to them in borough and hopefully they will continue to take part in them outside of school.”
