Bexley Invicta prepare for first competitive match

Gay-friendly football team Bexley Invicta will play their first competitive game on Sunday (September 9).
Invicta, who will play in the Unity League, kick-off with an away fixture against GFC Brighton and Hove at 1pm.
It was born in January of last year and has been training in Danson Park and playing a series of friendlies, including against Bexley Police, in the intervening 18 months.
The club will play its home matches at Erith Town Football Club’s stadium in Avenue Road. The first fixture there will be on September 23 against Romans Gladiators.
