Bexley library start Christmas charity push

PUBLISHED: 13:07 07 November 2012

Bexley Community Library is asking people to run, swim, walk or cycle 20 miles during the Christmas period to raise funds to keep the service running.

Having served the area for nearly 100 years, the library is now run by charity Greener Bexley.

The “20 miles to Christmas” sponsorship challenge is one of several festive fundraising events, which include a Christmas bazaar, that are part of the campaign to keep the library safe for the next year.

To take up the challenge, pick up a sponsor form from the library or email

You can also make a donation at the library or go online at and search for Bexley Library.
